Nyamira polytechnic history

Originally established to expand access to technical training in the area, Nyamira Polytechnic has grown from small trade-based beginnings into a multi-discipline TVET centre.

Over recent years the institution has developed workshops, computer labs and specialised workshops to support competency-based training and partnerships with national TVET initiatives.

The college now offers short modular courses as well as longer certificate and diploma programmes to meet both artisan and employer needs.
